1/27: Culver’s Night is the new McTeacher night! McDonald’s is no longer doing McTeacher night so come on down to the west-side Culvers on Tuesday January 27th from 5-8 pm to see your teachers, have them serve you, AND benefit our school!

2/7: FUTURE RAIDER DAY Calling all Future Raiders to come to the Stevens Basketball games on Saturday February 7th. Free entry for students. Girls varsity at 1 pm, Boys Varsity at 2:30 pm. See flyer for additional details. Future Raider Day
2/9-2/13: Scholastic Book Fair! More details to come - we will have morning and afternoon hours to come shop the book fair on the stage.
2/12: Parent Teacher Conferences in the evening. See messages from teachers for sign ups.
2/13: NO SCHOOL for Elementary only for Parent Teacher Conferences.
2/13: South Canyon Blood Drive 9 am – 12pm See details below.

3/21: STRINGS in CONCERT If your student is in Orchestra, they will begin rehearsals on February 26 for the Strings In Concert performance on March 21st. See attached flyer for all the details. Strings In Concert Flyer

BLOOD DRIVE February 13th 9am – 12pm. There is no school for elementary this day. Our goal for this blood drive is 19 units. See attached flyer to schedule your donation. Vitalant is offering a $15 gift card for all February donors, and the Lil’ Coffee cabin will be here selling drinks, so mark your calendars and plan to donate! Blood Drive Flyer
Before- and After-school SAFETY: We had another incident of a car nearly hitting a student due to driving too fast. PLEASE slow down around the school at all times! Always stop at crosswalks, be prepared that a student could pop out into the street – and remind your students to use the crosswalk. We welcome parent volunteers to help monitor crosswalks before and after school!

Notice from Student Nutrition: Meal account balances that remain unpaid after January 30, 2026, will be referred to a collection agency under the parent/guardian’s name. We want to help. Contact us early to work on a plan that prevents collections. Feeding students and supporting families is our priority. FeedingSD Backpack Food bag program: Do you receive the backpack bags? If so, would you be willing to share with us how it has positively impacted you? Please email Patricia in the office at patricia.scarborough@k12.sd.us, it will be kept anonymous. If you feel you would benefit from your student receiving a bag of non-perishable foods each Friday for the weekend, please let us know in the office and we can get you a form to sign up your student. Or if you currently receive one and would not like to receive them anymore – just let me know.
